I am based in Fairfax, VA. I hold an M.A. from The George Washington University in Telecommunications and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.
Who am I
I am a former Director of Product Marketing and Development for Sprint Nextel’s Business and Messaging Services Team (BAMS). I was responsible for the overall strategy, product marketing and product development for the following product portfolios: Messaging, Visual Communications, Email, Instant Messaging, Synchronization Services, Voice Messaging and Communities. Prior to this current position I was responsible for Nextel's Smart Devices and Accessories hardware development which included BlackBerry's, PC cards, OEM Modules, Bar Code Scanners, Credit Card Readers, Digital Pens and other non-phone products.
I have over 13 years of experience specifically in the wireless data industry. Prior to Sprint Nextel I was responsible for wireless data services at AT&T Wireless in San Francisco. I also have over 8 years of broad program and line management experience from my work with NASA and the U.S. Navy. I was with NASA Ames Research Center as a Mission Manager, where I managed scientific missions on DC- 8 and C-130 flying laboratories. I also served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy.
